Nutri-Life Bio-N™

Natural nitrogen captured from the atmosphere and converted to plant-available nitrogen in the root zone.

Nutri-Life Bio-N™ contains organisms capable of converting atmospheric nitrogen to ammonium nitrogen in the soil. Azotobacter, a free-living nitrogen fixer, can tap into the 74,000 tonnes of nitrogen gas hanging over every hectare. Azotobacter also secrete hygroscopic mucilage in the root-zone, which assists in retaining soil moisture. Independent crop trials show that Bio-N fixes over 70 kg/ha of nitrogen, demonstrating its effectiveness across various crops. Whether you replace standard nitrogen applications with Bio-N or add it to your regular fertiliser program, Bio-N offers a cost-effective nitrogen solution that can help enhance yield and protein levels, making it a powerful tool for improving crop quality and reducing environmental impact.

01 Soil must be well structured: ideally 25% air.

02 Soil temperature must be at least 6°C, however 8°C is optimal.

03 Must be applied either in rain or before rain or irrigation /fertigation.

04 Molybdenum must be available or added for this to work.

To boost N further if required Nutri-Life Bio-Plex is a product that can be foliar sprayed as its has N Fixers that live on the leaf surface. Nutri-Life Bio-N is for soil based N Fixers.

APPLICATION RATES Soil Application:

Pasture: 500 ml to 1 L /ha as required, can be applied via irrigation.

Horticulture 1 L/ha Apply every 4 weeks or as required

Broadacre (liquid inject at planting) 0.5 L/ha Apply at planting

Seed Treatment: Horticulture 5 mL/kg of seed Just prior to planting

Broadacre 2 L/tonne of seed Just prior to planting

Seedling Treatment Dip seedlings in a solution of 1 mL per L Just prior to planting
